Zak Efro
Yes i went with my sis and niece to watch Hairspray. People clapped at the end of the show. How exciting can this be? Check it out yourself!
I went to catch the Dog Show at Expo too on Sunday. Brought Yuki to company Yang Yang this time. Jia Jia was crying for attention when I returned back last night. Due to the presence of Da Yi Ma, Xiao Ah Yi, Aunts (exclude Er Yi Ma), Big and Small Uncles and Cousins, Yuan Da and family (exclude Juan) I made a quick appearance, greet, chomped and 'Bye Everyone!' It was an awkwardly refreshing visit. But they were still as nice and warm without Mr Loudhailer scutinising.
To top the night off, we had Teochew Yong Tau Foo. It's nice but a little bit on the sweeter side. Cheap too.

Floorplay with me

Back to work
After taking four rest days. It's back to work. Some updates on last weekend... it was Korie's 20th birthday (-10). We went to House at Dempsey Hill. Had some wine. I had my usual loads and some bits including Ben & Jerry's. Went to my place to park their cars before heading to Play and Taboo. I think it was a record where I have many guys at my place. Don't worry, nothing dirty happens. Below are the photos!~
Terence came over on Saturday and we went to the pool in the morning. Jason arrived in the afternoon and so we just chatted, munch fruits and watched the Simpsons. Previously the others came and we decided to tan at the rooftop due to the afternoon shade hovering the poolside.
Oh yes. Here's Sharon with the recent crazed I'm-not-a-Plastic-Bag bag. From Bangkok. Kinda neat. Thanks for the cool shades guys! Btw, they came later in the evening. Back to the recycling topic, we are trying to be green. It's difficult and expensive, but it's for our future. That what most matters. Yeah right!

Happy Birthday Singapore. I spent quite some time with Jay and Sharon last week and we were working out a bit while the rest of the citizens watching the live telecasts. Darren who stays a unit below the pool...
Darren: "Where is the party? I see two flags on the entrance and that's it?"
Me: "It's over there! (pointing to the leftover fireworks behind UOB building) The rest will be at home watching it on the tele."
Darren: "No street party?"
Me: "Nope. This is Singapore."

I am not an avid fan of local productions but this one got me crying towards the end. So much that I had to divert my attention to my mobile phone, coughed a bit trying not to over do it. Ya. Gonna get the DVD for Aunt Shirley. Terence dear companied me to Jurong on Saturday. I kinda missed her and the dogs. Boy were the dogs happy to see me. However, they stayed close to Terence (no 2). Maybe because he is the Man? :)

Met Kez to catch up on things at Marche for lunch. I was late as I had one too many drinks previous nite at PLAY. Quickly showered, dress up and off to Vivo with my glasses.
Thanks to Ad Kez for this present. My favourite brand and I'll swear by it (unless if it cost more than this). Thank you very much!

The whole picture of how we became tops and won!
My boss has been very nice and when she got the news that only selected people get to go for the dinner, she insisted the department should go! She got me and Lydia into her room and explained the whole scenario which she went through with the so-called management. Just because of my designation, I don't qualify. Lydia requested that I go as I was the main one who oversee the submissions requirement (as they claimed) for the competition. Other departments who were present has one or at most two representatives. HELLO??!? What are their purpose of being there? They made absolute ZERO contribution!
What we did recently was submit to STB to run for an award. There are even those who were reluctant to furnish us with information for the compilations. Not to say assist us in doing our job, for the company. I have to thank the designers as they tolerated my quest for distinction when it comes to visual presentations. All visuals collated, writings being vetted, figures extracted, compilation and entry forms filled, I personally delivered our submissions to Elaine. Without us completing these submissions, we would could have not won. Thanks to Shu Fang too when she was here.
We were very sure to win this as there are only a handful in this MICE industry. The hoteliers are something as they came up as finalists too. But we won of course!
We won two awards! I wouldn't name the event or the titles we won to avoid being
tagged. I thank my boss earlier as it meant so much to be invloved from the campaign, the campaign ad, the enquiry and media clippings to the compilation and submissions. The gala event last nite to top it all off.
Now we have to come up with something soon to run for next year's or future competitions.
Enough said. It's just work. Here are snippets of the event last nite.
